Ptolemy V Epiphanes was a pharaoh of the dynasty Lagid who ruled Egypt from 204 BC. AD to 180 BC. He was the son of Ptolemy IV and his wife Arsinoé, and succeeded his father at the age of 6, under the regency of his mother.
